Pregnancy Blessingway Host

Blessingways honor and support a mother through one of the most empowering experiences of her life.  Unlike a babyshower, a blessingway focuses on the mother to provider her with positive energy and a circle of support during the perinatal stages.

The goal of a blessingway is to create an empowering and positive energy within your support circle prior to your birth.  Blessingways are different for each mother and the blessingway should be a very personal experience.  It doesn't have to follow any set of standards and can even be blended with a traditional baby shower.  This add-on option to doula care is an excellent way of building our relationship for increased trust in birth.

Blessingway Facilitating Includes:

  • Support through coordinating the location and sending invitations
  • Developing a blessingway plan
  • Leading the energy and schedule during the blessingway
  • Relaxing manicure and pedicure with a hand and foot massage to relieve tension and allow time to connect and build trust before birth or to support you during your postpartum weeks.

Insurance Reimbursement

My doula services, including antenatal doula mentoring, labor doula, and postpartum doula care may be reimbursable by your insurance company.  Fees are required to be paid in full and you must submit your own claims; however, I will provide my NPI number and supporting information to help you with your claim submission.  In many cases, a well-written letter explaining how you believe doula support reduced costs for your birth, as well as persistence, will provide you with a reimbursement.  Please contact for any questions.
