CE Approved Provider
Esali Birth has been approved by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses to provide continuing education! This is amazing! Yes, it is only for West Virginia - but I don't know of a better way to make a difference within the system than right in my back yard through the services I already provide!
What does this mean?
- Holistic continuing education for a state with very poor birth practices.
- Breastfeeding education for implementing breastfeeding from the beginning for a state with one of the worst ever-breastfed rates in the entire United States (55.1%).
- Nutritional and lifestyle education for a state with poor overall health statistics from birth throughout life.
- Emotional education for units flooded with medical protocol that detaches women from the birth and postpartum experience.
CHANGE. It means possible change. It means the potential for blending the holistic view of the childbearing years directly with those that provide the medical interventions. It means the possibility for coming together as birth protectors from all views with an integrated approach to care.
It means the possibility for reducing cesarean rates. It means the possibility of reduced induction and augmentation rates. It means the possibility of empowering nurses to do what they know is best for the mother, even if a provider has a certain way they like things. It means the possibility of empowering nurses to not take part in circumcisions.
It means reaching out with the best way I know how and providing the information Esali families are receiving to those providing services that change their lives forever.
I'm looking forward to this new phase!!! The possibilities are endless, and I will need all the help I can get making this dream a reality! CEU Courses available soon! What CE course would YOU be interested in taking?
