NORA Tea

Tonic herbal teas are some of the best ways of obtaining vitamins and minerals.  Tonic teas mean they are nutritive herbs.  They can help support healthy blood volume, liver healing, and so much more.  There are many different tea options for the childbearing year (which can also be enjoyed from the whole family).  One is NORA.

Meet NORA.

First, let's talk about what a "part" is.  You can make a small batch or a large batch, but the “parts” should be proportional to each other.  For instance, if 1 Part = 1 Cup, then ½ Part will = ½ Cup.  You can use a pinch as your part for one cup of tea, or make a whole quart by using 1 cup as your part.  I recommend making a bulk amount.  Use equal parts of the following herbs in organic form, sourced from a quality herb supplier like MountainRoseHerbs.com:

Nettle Leaf

Oatstraw

Red Raspberry Leaf

Alfalfa

Stir all herbs together and store in a sealed glass jar out of direct sunlight.  To enjoy, bring 1 cup water to boil.  Add 1 tsp tea blend to a tea ball and then pour water over and let steep 3-5 minutes.  Or, make a whole quart with up to 1/4 cup of the herbal blend per quart of water and enjoy all-day letting the herbs steep until you're finished with our quart.

pssst... I like to add a little spearmint to my blend for flavor which makes a nice warm or iced cup of tea.
